The mission of Chi Sigma Iota, the international honor society for professional counselors, counselor educators, and students established at Ohio University in 1985, is to promote scholarship, research, professionalism, leadership and excellence in counseling, and to recognize high attainment in the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence in the profession of counseling. Upsilon Nu Mu Chapter at the University of New Mexico
Upsilon Nu Mu Chapter was established at the University of New Mexico in 2001. Our chapter currently has more than 47 active members including current students, alumni, and faculty. We focus on promoting excellence in the profession of counseling and hope to get members more involved in professional development, community engagement, wellness and more.
